James Postel

I am interested in biological oceanography research programs related to coastal processes and phytoplankton ecology. In addition, I am the manager of a group of Oceanography Technical Services units that support the research and educational efforts of the University of Washington by designing, fabricating, and repairing instruments; performing analytical measurements of certain nutrients, pigments, and carbon/nitrogen content of samples; and providing sampling gear or extra staffing help for field research projects.
