Research Interests: Biogeochemistry of trace gases and climate change, methyl halides, air-sea exchange, marine chemical tracers of ocean circulation and productivity, paleoatmospheric chemistry in polar ice cores, and aircraft vertical profiling of CO, H2

Other Affiliations: Professor of Chemistry and Adjunct Professor of Atmospheric Sciences, participating faculty in the UW Global and Environmental Chemistry (GEC) and Astrobiology Programs, and Senior Fellow of the Joint Institute for Study of the Atmosphere and Ocean (JISAO)
