Metrics workshop

My research concerns the role that the oceans play in climate varability. My tools are numerical and analytical models of ocean circulation, including models run locally and analysis of model runs done at national centers. Areas of interest include varability in the ocean interior owing to changes in atmospheric forcing on interannual to decadal times scales, changes in oxygen levels at depth and the uptake of carbon owing to changes in ocean circulation, the coupling of ocean circulation and tides to sea ice. I also use satellite data to compare against model results.
