For my PhD research, I worked with Tim Pedley at
DAMTP, Univ. of Cambridge, UK.
I
developed a mathematical model to investigate the chemotactic
behaviour of bacteria in a shear flow.
I am currently working with Danny Grunbaum at School of Oceanography, Univ. of Washington, USA. I am interested in understanding the swimming behavior and resultant spatial distribution of Heterosgma, an algae that forms harmful algal blooms. Here is a website I designed for the department open house which gives an introduction to my research.
