Welcome to

Currrently, I'm.....
at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution involved in a guest studentship (previously mentioned) working with the U.S. GLOBEC Georges Bank Study. In the lab, Mari, Kristie, Sarah, and I, are counting thousands and thousands of critters, including copepods, amphipods, ispods, larval fishes, cephalopods...you get the idea. We're also involved in other little side experiments - Can't let you in on this stuff though. With all the competition for scientific funding, we can't let our little secret out, can we?
By the first week of September, I should be headed back to the Seattle area and then straight to the underwater hockey clinic/tryout in Freemont, CA. Then it's straight to Friday Harbor, WA, where I'll be doing other ocean bug work on zooplankton vertical migration projects. Then, finally, I'll move down to the San Francisco area to work as a tech for Dr. Steve Bollens, who has just accepted a professorship at SFSU. I'll probably be out at the Tiburon Labs when they get set up.
