Provide the technical computer support for our 15 node
computer network. Evaluate, purchase and install computer software
and hardware for our research group. Customize these systems to meet
users' needs and to improve their abilities to work. I have improved
network communications for research group to the campus wide area
network and to the internet. Write and maintain the Stable Isotope

Perform all high precision measurements of concentrations and
isotopic composition of atmospheric methane and carbon dioxide in air samples collected
from a global sampling network. My responsibilities include operating high vacuum gas
extraction techniques and operating the light isotope mass spectrometer to measure stable
isotopic composition. I am in charge of creating, maintaining and analyzing data from the
database for this project. I also calibrate the extraction procedures, design and modify the
extraction apparatus.

Duties included data processing, data entry, customer reception,
and shipping and receiving. I assisted in the computerization
of the local office. I was responsible for data communications
from the local office to the home office in Nebraska.
9/82 to 6/84: Lab Aid,
Evergreen Sate College, Olympia WA.
I was primarily responsible for the operation maintenance and
scheduling of the campus scanning electron microscope. My duties
included sample preparation and black and white photography. I
trained students in the uses of the scanning electron microscope
and organized workshops on sample preparation. I was also responsible
for the operations of the advanced light microscopy lab.
