Openings for temporary relief mariner positions are occasionally available.
Temporary Employment Opportunities: Although we do not publish a list of temporary employment opportunities we are always gathering a list of potential candidates to call upon when permanent crew members go on vacation throughout the year. All positions in the Deck, Engine and Steward Department are open, except for Master and Chief Engineer. All mariners must be STCW certified for international voyages on all oceans, unlimited tonnage. Please note that relief jobs are on a trip-by-trip basis and do not guarantee future relief positions. To be considered for temporary employment you must send us the following documents:
- Resume with References
- USCG Merchant Mariner Credentials (all pages with information)
- STCW-95 Certificate or BST certificate if it is not included on your MMC (deck officers must also have GMDSS and Radar endorsements)
- Passport, TWIC, and Drivers License
