Science Communication Short Courses

In advance of the next Polar Science Weekend (March 1-4, 2012), Pacific Science Center is offering its Science
Communication Short Course again, a series of 4 workshops for scientists and graduate students on how to design
engaging hands-on exhibits and improve communication skills with the public. The Science Center is accepting
applications through November 21, and the first workshop is on December 1. Anyone interested in doing outreach through
Pacific Science Center is encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to those whose research has a polar theme.
