The Marine Sedimentary Processes (MSP) research apprenticeship gives you the unique opportunity to do independent scientific research. This 10-week
research experience focuses on sedimentary geology and the impacts of dam removal in Elwha coastal habitats. Through field work, lab work,
lectures, field trips, and individual research projects, students will learn about oceanographic tools and sedimentary environments, and actively participate in research on an exciting, unprecedented restoration project.
