I study physical oceanography and focus on the physical processes happening in the upper part of the ocean. My current research is to investigate the surface wave effects on the mixing and dispersion within the ocean surface boundary layer and explore how we can better predict the climate with the inclusion of surface waves. I got my Bachelor’s degree in ocean science from Xiamen University, China. During my free time, I like to bike around Seattle and explore different hiking spots.
