Pandemic, Vaccines, and Our School
As the number of vacciniated persons contnues to grow, so does our hope to return to some new version of normal life. For now, the UW is virtual all spring (with limited exceptions) and the rules remain in place, even after you have been vaccinated. So, if you are coming to UW and you are vaccinated, you still need to wear a mask (unless alone in your office or lab space) and you need to be cognizant that less than 15% of us have been fullly vaccinated.
As we adjust to a difficult new normal, how to help ourselves and others can be unclear. Here’s a resource provided by the UW that may be of help: Working during COVID-19/Caring for self and family/Self care.
