Student Jobs
Student Academic Employees at the University of Washington are governed by a contract between the University of Washington and UAW. Details of the contract may be found at UAW Academic Student Employees (ASEs) Contract. Wage rates for ASE hourly job titles hired in Oceanography are:
- Graduate Reader/Grader = $25 per hour
- Undergraduate Reader/Grader = $20 per hour
- Undergraduate Teaching Assistant = $20 per hour
- Undergraduate Research Assistant = $18.69 per hour (effective 1/1/2023) to start, can be paid more
