Conflict Resolution Resources

DRAFT - This page is being developed (April 2021)

Although we strive to work together harmoniously, we understand that conflicts may arise in the workplace and classroom.  The University has various resources, policies and processes to help resolve conflicts and handle complaints.  Many conflicts are best resolved at the lowest local level—either directly with, or closest to, the parties directly involved.  However, you may utilize any Oceanography or University resource(s) that you believe can best assist with your issue.  The purpose of this document is to let you know what resolution resources are available to assist you at both the local (Department of Oceanography) level and the University level.  It is our intention that all complaints are treated seriously and as confidentially as possible.
